Considered one of the world’s greatest archaeological treasures, the burial complex of Emperor Qin Shihuangdi features thousands of terra cotta warriors meant to protect him in the afterlife. Recent finds from the elaborate burial site also include court officials, acrobats, musicians, and birds. "Terra Cotta Warriors" tells the story of China's First Emperor, his struggle to unify China, and reveals the wonders of his tomb complex. With nearly 100 objects, including several terra cotta figures, this exhibition is the largest group of terra cotta figures and significant artifacts to travel to the United States from China.
